Emily McDaid is a traditional and nontraditional media expert who
has built a career in PR in the digital industries on both sides of
the Atlantic. A former director at the Rainier PR group of technology
agencies (owned by the Loewy Group) she's maintained focus on BtoB
and BtoC PR for the digital industries and telecommunications markets
for the past 10 years.
Prior to her time at Rainier, Emily worked for the leading US PR agency
SHIFT Communications in Boston, and before that she worked in industry
relations at MIT in the office of Tim Berners-Lee, focused on the
esteemed Project Oxygen and semantic web projects aiming to make computing
more personal, intuitive and pervasive.
Emily holds a degree from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore,
MD, in psychology and economics. |
